Warwickshire Flyfishers

About us

Warwickshire Flyfishers is a private, non profit making Club, formed in 1967 to foster and extend the art of fly fishing.  Our lakes in Warwickshire, bordering Leicestershire (2 at Wolvey and 2 at Copston Magna) are  stocked with Rainbows averaging 2.6lb - 6lb and Brown Trout averaging  2lb and we are open all year.

The fishing locations are in excellent surroundings with abundant wildlife, members can enjoy the peace and tranquility of our lakes whilst they cast a fly to tempt our fish.

Club members are encouraged to participate in projects, especially in pool maintenance and improvement plans. The club has a very sociable membership and is willing to support newcomers from beginners upwards.

Joe has bought his fishery and nature reserve experince to Wolvey, enhancing the waters and bio-diversity by carefull managment of the banks and plant growth. Always seen with a smile and a laugh, he is always happy to help members.
